RECORDKEEPING:
Along with the use of the PACES, parents will receive score keys and a parent/teacher record card, so that the student may score his work and you may keep a record of his progress. THE SCORE KEYS ARE THE PROPERTY OF THE PARENT AND DO NOT NEED TO BE RETURNED TO THE SCHOOL.
The parent/teacher will grade the test and mail them to Florida Christian Academy for processing and the final results mailed back to the parent. Parents maintain a detailed record of attendance. The attendance record is mailed to Florida Christian Academy at the end of each quarter for recording on permanent record.
The procedures for keeping these records is explained in the handbook every family receives after enrollment. You also receive a star chart and stars to show progress of the whole year, a daily student work sheet for setting goals and assigning homework, a parent teacher record card, and an attendance sheet for each student.
Each quarter you must report to us by sending a copy of your attendance signed by you verifying the information. The PACES themselves do not have to be returned. When we receive your report, we will record attendance and update the information on your permanent records and send you a grade report to let you know we have received your report and posted the information to your permanent school record. This will complete the Florida Christian Academy record keeping system.
